Summary

2 days/1 night tour – This tour takes you the first Christian sites in the history. Cappadocia, meaning ‘’Land of Beautiful Horses’’ is an charming land in the center Anatolia of Turkey. This trip provides that you can see how the first christians lived and where they worshipped. We have set up this trip so that you can enjoy and learn traditional Turkish culture and beatuiful sites. This trip will also take you to one of the most popular Ottoman-Turkish architecture, Mimar Sinan’s, house.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kayseri:

Today you will be picked from the Kayseri airport to the hotel. After breakfast, we will travel to visit Mimar Sinan house and Agios Prokopios Church that is located in Agirnas. Then, we will depart for old Talas that is Greek district before. In there, we can see beatufiul old Greek houses and Agios Theotokos Church(Yaman Dede mosque now). After have lunch in a cave restaurant, drive to downtown and visit Museum of Seljuk. In there we will also see the first medical centre, Gevher Nesibe Şifahanesi, in the world. Afterward, we will go to the second biggest grand bazaar that was built in 15. Century. Lastly, dinner and back to the hotel.

Day 2: Cappadocia

You will be picked from the hotel and drive to Ihlara Valley. Ihlara  Valley (often misspelled as Ilhara Valley), near Mount Hasan and Mound Melendiz (two of the three volcanoes of Cappadocia) is a canyon with a depth of approximately 100m and was formed by the Melendiz River thousands of years ago. There are so many ancient churches and monastery in Ihlara Valley. Some of them are Kokar Kilise(The Smelkly Church), Purenli Seki Kilisesi(Church with the Terrace), Ağaçaltı Kilise(Church under the Tree) and Selime Monastery. Afterwards we will go to see Derinkuyu underground city and open air ceramic museums as well. Lastly, dinner and back to the hotel.
